Fighting for felines since our doors first opened.
The National Cat Protection Society (NatCat) is a non-profit, no-kill 501(c)(3) cat shelter organization. Our cat-loving staff tirelessly protects cats’ lives in our kitty-corner area of the world—with two shelters across Orange and San Diego Counties.

Cat-centered protection and services.
We are a feline-only, no-kill organization devoted entirely to cat-centered protection and services. From shelter intake and adoption to lifelong retirement care for senior cats, every program at NatCat exists to give cats the time, space, and TLC they deserve while they wait for—or already live in—a forever home.
Programs built around cats.
Every program at NatCat keeps cats at the center—from adoption to lifelong retirement.
